I’m always trying to find ways to sneak veggies into meals in this house. Everyone eats them but I can tell that they eat more when it’s part of a really tasty mixed dish. This recipe does a really good job of hiding the cooked broccoli taste and it has bacon in it. Who doesn’t love bacon?

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 8 oz Bacon
  • 1 Head Broccoli
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 8 oz Rotini Pasta

  1. Boil pasta as directed
  2. Chop chicken, bacon and broccoli
  3. Cook chicken, bacon, and broccoli in frying pan over medium-high heat 20 minutes
  4. Strain excess liquid from pan
  5. Cook additional 10 minutes or so until bacon is crisp and chicken has started to brown
  6. Add flour and mix well
  7. Add milk and bring to a boil
  8. Reduce heat to low and add cheeses and cooked pasta
